Prag Khurpia Integrated Manufacturing Cluster IMC, Uttarakhand

Khurpia Farm in Uddhamsingh Nagar district, Uttarakhand is being developed as an Integrated Manufacturing Cluster as part of Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC). AKIC is conceptualized along high capacity, high-speed Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) as the backbone and runs parallel to the Golden Quadrilateral and its diagonals, thus enhancing the attractiveness for investments.

The proposed Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) site at Khurpia farm with an area of 1,000 acres is located in Kichha sub district of Udham Singh (US) Nagar district in the Tarai region, and is part of Kumaon Division of the State of Uttarakhand.

Broad gauge railway line between Bareilly and Haldwani is running parallel to the site along with SH 44. The site is abutted by SH 44 Bareilly-Nainital road with 24 m RoW along the eastern side. Pantnagar Industrial area is located in proximity to the proposed IMC.

Consultant has been appointed for preparation of detailed master plan and preliminary engineering for the project.
