Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) has been envisaged under Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) as one of the second industrial nodes in the state of Maharashtra.

Located at about 170 km south of the city of Mumbai on the Mumbai Goa Highway NH 66 and along the Konkan rail line, the node offers a unique competitive advantage for the location. The DPIA falls in 9 villages in the Roha and Mangaon Tehsils of Alibag district with a total area of 2,400 Hectares identified for development in the first phase. The presence of the Konkan railway enhances the multimodal connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and the Jawaharlal Nehru Port. The site is located within a driving radius of the Roha Industrial Area on the north-western side and the Vile Bhagad Industrial area on the north-eastern side becoming a home to major chemical and steel giants.

Consultants have been appointed for the preparation of Detailed Master Planning, Preliminary Engineering design, preparation of tender documents and handholding support.
