To increase ethanol production capacity and meet blending targets, the Center has introduced various ethanol interest subsidy programs from 2018 to 2022.
Under these programmes, 47 projects from Bihar have received in-principle approvals, he said.
For each ethanol supply year (ESY), OMCs invite distilleries to submit bids for the purchase of ethanol based on feedstock availability.
