1256 km Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor (NH-754 & EC-3), also known as Amritsar – Jamnagar Expressway, is an under construction 4-6 lane partially access-controlled highway by NHAI with a route alignment through Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
915.85 km of this highway will built on a greenfield alignment, while the rest will be built by upgrading existing national highways. Construction work on its greenfield section started in 2019 with a primary goal to improve the efficiency of freight movement and boost exports.
The project is being developed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I program. Its feasibility report and detailed project report (DPR) were prepared by Chaitanya Projects Consultancy, Pentacle Consultants, K & J Consultants and STUP Consultants.

When ready, the distance from Amritsar to Jamnagar will reduce from 1,430 km to 1,256 kilometres and cut down the travel time from 26 hours to about 13 hours.
Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor: Route Map
The Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor project starts from village Tibba (Kapurthala District) on the Delhi – Amritsar Expressway and ends in Jamnagar. Along the way it connects Bhatinda, Chautala, Rasisar, Deogarh, Sanchore, Santalpur and Malia.

Amritsar – Bathinda Expressway
154.866 km Amritsar Bathinda Expressway (6 lane, greenfield) section (NH-754A) in Punjab consists of 3 civil packages – each with a 2 year construction deadline. This was originally planned as a 196 km brownfield upgrade of NH-54, but changed to greenfield in 2020.

Bathinda – Sangariya / Chautala Section
An 85.10 km section of the existing 2 lane NH-54 will be upgraded to 4 lane configuration. It traverses Punjab – Rajasthan and will not be access-controlled.
Sangariya / Chautala – Rasisar Expressway
This 252.80 km greenfield section (NH-754K) is being built as a 6 lane access-controlled road from Chautala in Sirsa district of Haryana to Rasisar in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. It consists of 9 civil packages, each with a 2 year deadline.
