“Separate guidelines, separate parameters need to be laid down for the North East. Don’t look at the North East as a business opportunity. Development of the North East is a national responsibility,” he said.
The Home Minister asked the Banking Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, NABARD and SBI to work towards defining robust banking parameters for the North East.
